New Delhi. Bharat Ratna-awarded veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani’s health has deteriorated again today. Advani has been admitted to the Neurology Department of Apollo Hospital in Delhi where he is being checked up by doctors. Advani has been admitted to the hospital for the third time in the last two months. Earlier in early July, the BJP leader was admitted to Apollo Hospital. During that time, he was in the hospital for two days.
Later, seeing improvement in his condition, he was discharged. During that time, Advani was admitted under the supervision of Dr. Vineet Suri, Senior Consultant, Neurology Department, Apollo. A few days before this, in the last week of June, Advani’s health first deteriorated. At that time, he had to be admitted to AIIMS, Delhi for a day. He was admitted to the Urology Department of AIIMS due to problems caused by urinary infection. Advani was discharged from AIIMS on June 27, the very next day after being admitted on the night of June 26. Union Health Minister JP Nadda called AIIMS Director Dr. M. Srinivas and inquired about Advani’s health.
In 1980, LK Advani and Atal Bihari Vajpayee together formed the BJP. 96-year-old LK Advani has now withdrawn from public life due to old age and health problems. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently met Advani at his home and took his blessings before taking oath for the third time. Due to health problems, President Draupadi Murmu visited Advani at his home and awarded him the country’s highest award, Bharat Ratna.
