Patna. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad claimed on Friday that the Narendra Modi government at the Centre is ‘weak’ and may ‘fall’ within a month. Lalu claimed the fall of the government in a program organized on the occasion of RJD’s foundation day. This program was organized to celebrate the completion of 28 years of RJD. Lalu’s younger son and former deputy CM Tejaswi Yadav was also present during this. Meanwhile, BJP rejected this claim and said that the ailing Lalu Prasad is having ‘hallucinations’. The party said that the recent general elections have confirmed the faith of the people in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Lalu Prasad said in his address, ‘Modi government is weak. It can fall anytime. It can fall in August.’
We never compromised on ideology: Lalu
Urging party workers to be prepared for any such situation, Prasad said that in the recent Lok Sabha elections, RJD has improved its number of seats and vote percentage compared to five years ago. Prasad said, ‘We have been the largest party in the Bihar Assembly for a long time. Unlike many other parties, we have never compromised on ideology.’
BJP said- Lalu is having ‘hallucinations’
Lalu made this comment at a time when most of the NDA leaders were at a BJP event where newly appointed Union ministers from Bihar were being felicitated. Reacting to Lalu Prasad’s statement, former BJP Bihar unit president and Union minister Nityanand Rai said Lalu was seeing ‘Mungeri Lal Ke Haseen Sapne’. Rai said, “People have voted for Modi, who is now in power for a record third time. Under his leadership and the guidance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the NDA in Bihar will continue to defeat the opposition.”
