New Delhi. ED has filed the first supplementary chargesheet in the alleged scam of giving jobs in railways in exchange for land. In this supplementary chargesheet, ED has also named RJD supremo and then Railway Minister Lalu Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav. ED has filed a 100-page supplementary chargesheet in the court in the land-for-job scam. The investigating agency is investigating this case under money laundering. Apart from Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav, 8 others have also been made accused in the ED chargesheet. ED alleges that companies named AB Exports and AK Infosystems were used in the game of taking land in exchange for jobs. AK Infosystems bought 11 lands for 1.89 crores. Later, AK Infosystems was transferred to the name of Lalu Yadav’s family at a price of 1 lakh.
ED has included more than 90 documents as evidence in the supplementary charge sheet to strengthen its allegations against Lalu Yadav, his son and former Bihar Deputy CM Tejaswi Yadav and other accused. Special Judge Vishal Gogne will hear this charge sheet on August 13. ED had also filed a charge sheet in the court in January this year in the land-for-job scam in the railways. In that charge sheet, ED had named Lalu Yadav’s wife Rabri Devi, daughter Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav, besides Amit Katyal. Retired railway employee Hridayananda Chaudhary has also been made an accused by ED.

The investigation of the land for job case in railways was given to CBI. In this, ED took over the investigation of the money laundering case. Lalu Yadav is accused that when he was the railway minister in the UPA government from 2004 to 2009, he took land from poor families in exchange for giving them Group D jobs in railways. CBI has also made Lalu Yadav and his family members accused in the land for job case. In this case, the CBI judge has granted bail to Lalu Yadav and his family members. Accused Amit Katyal is still in jail after his arrest by ED.
