In order to maintain mental and physical balance in a stress -filled work environment, the Laughter Yoga session was organized in the Jaipur Police Commissionerate on Friday morning in collaboration with the Hasam Sanstha. The event was not only to increase health awareness, but also had a unique initiative to fill positive energy and happiness in the lives of policemen.
In this special yoga session, several senior police officers and employees including Additional Commissioner (Admin and Traffic) Yogesh Dadhich, DCP Headquarters Devendra Kumar, and DCP Traffic Shaheen C attended. The session began in the morning with laughter and simple but impressive exercises of yoga, which filled the whole atmosphere with joy and enthusiasm.
The coaches of the Hasam Sanstha reported that Laughter Yoga is based on a scientific method, which reduces mental stress only through laughter without any joke or humor. This practice not only cleanses the lungs, but also increases the amount of oxygen in the body, causing freshness and energy throughout the day.
During the program, Additional Commissioner Yogesh Dadhich said, “Policemen work in stressful circumstances day and night. In such a situation, events like Laughter Yoga are very helpful in maintaining mental balance. We have to strengthen our strength not only physical fitness but also mentally strong.”
DCP Devendra Kumar also appreciated the event and said that such activities increase the team spirit and prove to be helpful in reducing the stress of duty.
At the end of the program, all officers and employees collectively practiced laughter and resolved to adopt it in life. Also, it was agreed to regularly do such events in Police Commissionerate.
Laughter Yoga, which has now become a popular method of stress management worldwide, has emerged as an inspirational initiative for the Jaipur Police. This is not only a healthy exercise, but a strong step towards the creation of positive environment and collective energy within the police force.
