Patna. The opposition in Bihar is constantly raising questions about law and order. The police are also making every effort to curb criminal incidents, but are not able to stop criminal incidents. Meanwhile, criminals shot and escaped a lawyer in broad daylight in Sultanganj police station area of Patna and escaped.
According to the police, advocate Jitendra Kumar came out of the house on Sunday, during which criminals shot him. He was admitted to PMCH in an injured state, where he died during treatment.
Jitendra Kumar practiced in civil court. After receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot and started investigating the case. Forensic evidence has been compiled by the police in collaboration with the FSL team.
Here, Patna Eastern Municipal Superintendent of Police, Advash Kumar also reached the spot and inspected and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officer.
He told reporters that the incident took place in Sultanganj area. A person named Jitendra has been shot. He was immediately taken to PMCH for treatment, where he died. Family members said that as usual, they still came out of the house to drink tea. Meanwhile, someone shot him. The number of criminals was not known.
He informed that the nearby CCTV camera is being investigated. The reasons for the murder have not yet been ascertained. The police is investigating from all angles. Three kiosks have been recovered from the scene.
