A shocking theft incident has come to light from Bangalore district of Karnataka. Here a Nepali couple and three other colleagues, local businessman and political party officer S.K. Largely stolen from Ramesh Babu’s house. During the three months, the couple gained confidence of Ramesh Babu and his family. On 27 May, Ramesh went to Tirupati with his entire family, which the accused considered a suitable time for theft. Meanwhile, the Nepali couple Raj-Dipa and their three companions broke the main doors of the house and the door of the bedroom and carried out the theft incident.
How was the theft detected?
On the morning of May 28, when Ramesh Babu checked the CCTV camera of the house from his mobile, he found that he was closed. He thought that the electricity may have gone, but later on receiving a call from neighbors, it was found that no one was present at home. After this, Ramesh sent his friends home, where the whole theft came out.
Police action and investigation
A complaint has been lodged at HAL Police Station in this case. The police believe that the theft was done in an organized manner and planned. Apart from the Nepali couple, three of their companions are also involved in the incident.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Whitefield Division) Shivkumar Gunare said that an FIR has been registered under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code in the case. A special team has been formed to search the accused and a thorough investigation into the entire incident is going on.
