But the region of the refinery was not easy to catch the leopard due to vast and complex structures, pipelines and bushes built there. The 15 -member team of the forest department, including two ranger, is constantly trying to calm and catch it safely. A cage has also been put up to catch the leopard, but it often disappears from the eyes, making the rescue operation more difficult.

At around five o’clock on Wednesday morning, a leopard appeared in the CCTV camera of the refinery near the wall. The Forest Department team tried to catch him, but he fceged fast towards the bushes. After some time, his footprints were also found outside the refinery complex, causing suspicion that he might have entered another area.
Advisory continues for villagers and laborers
Thousands of workers are working in the refinery and are very scared of leopard presence. The administration has issued an advice for workers and nearby villagers. It states that people should not get out of the houses at night and avoid unnecessarily going to forests or deserted areas. Refinery officials have also been instructed to prioritize the safety of workers and control their activities.
How long will the leopard live? What does the forest department say?
Ranger Jagdish Vishnoi of the forest department said that the department’s team immediately started rescue work as soon as the presence of leopard in the refinery was received. He said, “We are constantly monitoring her activities and trying our best to catch her. The leopard is very cleverly hidden, as the refinery is surrounded by pipelines and shrubs. The forest department has planned to faint the leopard with a tranquilizer gun to safely leave it into the forest without any damage.
