14 mentally ill children had died in Rohini Shelter Home.Saurabh Bhardwaj targeted LG citing transfer posting.A befitting reply was also given by the LG office regarding this.
New Delhi. Politics has intensified in the case of the death of 14 mentally ill children in 20 days in Rohini based shelter home Asha Kiran. Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj on Saturday alleged that the officer who was responsible for looking after Asha Kiran was appointed by the Lieutenant Governor (LG). This is the same officer who was arrested red handed by the CBI in 2016 for taking bribe in a corruption case. After this, the LG office was accused of misleading regarding transfer posting. Bhardwaj again hit back and said that the LG office is lying.
Saurabh Bhardwaj claimed that shelter home officer Rahul Agarwal was arrested by the CBI in 2016 on charges of taking bribe and was suspended for five years. Bhardwaj said in a press conference, “I want to know on what basis the LG appointed Rahul Agarwal as the officer of the shelter home. Due to this appointment, various irregularities and flaws have come to light after the death of 14 mentally challenged people there.”
