The cyber and field unit of Madhya Pradesh Police have revealed the robbery incident in broad daylight in Dewas, achieving great success under Operation Trinetram. In the robbery incident on July 11 in Shikharji Dham Colony of Industrial Police Station area of Dewas district, 6 accused have been arrested, who were arrested by chasing about 1500 km to Goa, Jabalpur and Indore. The police have recovered goods worth about 6 lakh rupees from the possession of the accused, including two gold mangalsutra, gold tops, and one Realme 3 Pro mobile phones.

According to the complainant Harshraj Singh Chauhan, on the afternoon of July 11, when he was alone at home, three youths reached his house. Two youths described themselves as insurance policy agents and sought water. As soon as they opened the door, the youths scared by showing knives and airguns and forcibly entered the house and carried out the robbery. The accused looted jewelry and mobile phones from the cupboard and escaped from the bike.
Robber gang caught by technology and tracking
As soon as the incident was reported, the station in -charge Shashikant Chaurasia immediately reached the spot and searched more than 500 CCTV footage with the help of a cyber and technical team. After this, pictures of suspects were shared through “Trinetram WhatsApp Community”, which accelerated the identity process. On the information of an informer, the police detained Naveen Soni. During interrogation, he revealed the names of the other two accused Imran Shah and Nitesh Yogi. During interrogation, it was revealed that Imran had arranged weapons used in the robbery.
Gold of robbery pledge and sales conspiracy
Soon after the robbery, the accused mortgaged a mangalsutra Iifl Gold Loan Company. The company’s manager Shivam Khatri has also been arrested in this case. The remaining jewelry was sold to Shammi Soni in Sarafa Bazaar in Indore, which has been arrested by the police. Thus, all the six accused involved in the plunder conspiracy are in custody – including the planned, the accompanying, the jewel mortgaged bank personnel and the bullion traders who bought the jewel.
