After the announcement of the Lok Sabha election schedule, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start the election campaign in the state by addressing a rally in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. A senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader said that apart from Meerut, people from Baghpat, Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar and Kairana Lok Sabha constituencies will also participate in the Prime Minister’s rally. State General Secretary Anup Gupta has been given the responsibility of coordinating the Prime Minister’s rally from the BJP headquarters.
This time in Meerut, BJP has made actor Arun Govil, who became famous after playing the role of Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s serial ‘Ramayana’, as its candidate. Arun Govil can also be present on the Prime Minister’s stage. Apart from this, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Chaudhary Jayant Singh will share the stage with the BJP.

BJP and RLD have made extensive preparations for PM Modi’s rally. A Meerut official said that in view of the Prime Minister’s proposed rally on March 31 in Meerut, for security, District Magistrate Deepak Meena has banned aerial display, flying of drones, kites or balloons within eight km radius of the rally venue under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Has been banned. The District Magistrate has ordered all the police station heads to strictly follow the orders in their areas.
BJP State General Secretary and Legislative Council member Govind Narayan Shukla, who is playing an important role in the party in election management, said, “The Prime Minister’s Meerut rally will prove to be a milestone in Western Uttar Pradesh. “National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will win all 80 seats in the state this time.”
According to BJP and RLD leaders, in Prime Minister Modi’s rally, issues ranging from Bharat Ratna to former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, sugarcane farmers and development of Western Uttar Pradesh will be discussed. The Central Government on Saturday awarded ‘Bharat Ratna’ to Chaudhary Charan Singh. Chaudhary Charan Singh was the grandfather of RLD chief Jayant and father of RLD founder late former Union Minister Chaudhary Ajit Singh.
