With the aim of compensating for the academic loss caused to the students and their intellectual development due to the Corona epidemic, the reduction in holidays along with the change in the academic session can be seen as a meaningful initiative of the state government. If there is harmony between students, parents, teachers and support staff, then good results can be seen. In view of the 10th and 12th board examinations, classes are being conducted in Raipur on Sunday as well. Due to Corona infection, studies in schools have been affected for almost two years. Change in academic session will prove helpful in achieving the same goals.
The government has extended the academic session ending on March 31 till April 30. So far, the new session has been starting from April 1. This will give additional 30 days to the students for studies and exams in the current class itself. The loss due to Korana cannot be fully compensated, but these extra academic days will be very useful in giving the right direction to the teaching-learning process. Because of this, the next academic session will start from May 1 and the summer vacations will start from May 15. After entering the new class, this time will be less to understand the syllabus, but the education system will definitely get momentum and direction. Children imprisoned in homes for two years will then be able to visit relatives or visit tourist places. The use of summer vacations has proved to be very useful for personality development, sports camps, art-culture training. The biggest challenge for students troubled by frequent holidays and online studies is to concentrate on studies. It has been proved in Corona that the process of directly teaching students by teachers in classrooms is the best and there can be no permanent substitute for it. With the initiative of the government, students are getting extra time to study. It is important that parents cooperate in this. This system, which has been implemented in educational training colleges also, should be considered for implementation in other educational institutions. It has become clear in various studies that in the last two years, adolescents have suffered the most. His behavior has changed. Now even he is afraid to go to school. In such a situation, the teachers will have to cooperate with a lot of patience and restraint in inculcating the attachment towards studies in the children. Officials of the Education Department will play an important role in this, so that necessary facilities for education are available in schools. Only then will this meaningful initiative ensure good results.
