-Voting is being held for 57 seats in the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Voting will take place from 7 am to 6 pm.

-In the seventh phase, people will vote in 8 Lok Sabha seats of Bihar, 4 of Himachal Pradesh, 3 of Jharkhand, 6 of Odisha, 13 of Punjab, 9 of West Bengal and Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat.
– 904 candidates are contesting in the seventh phase. Among them, there are 809 male and 95 female candidates. Among them, 299 are crorepatis and 199 are tainted.
-More than 10 crore voters will exercise their franchise in the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
These giants including PM Narendra Modi are in the field
Voters are going to decide the fate of several big candidates in the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections. The most high profile seat is Varanasi. PM Narendra Modi is the BJP candidate here. Congress has again fielded its UP state president Ajay Rai from the Varanasi seat. Ravi Kishan is the BJP candidate from the Gorakhpur seat. Samajwadi Party has given ticket to Kajal Nishad against him. There is a contest between BJP’s Parasnath Rai and SP’s Afzal Ansari from Ghazipur. Actress Kangana Ranaut is the BJP candidate from Himachal’s Mandi seat. Congress has fielded state minister Vikramaditya Singh from here. CM Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee is contesting from Bengal’s Diamond Harbour seat.
BJP has again given a chance to Ravi Shankar Prasad from Patna Sahib seat of Bihar. Anshul Abhijit is the opposition candidate against Ravi Shankar Prasad. NDA candidate from Karakat seat of Bihar is Upendra Kushwaha. Bhojpuri singer and actor Pawan Singh is contesting against him as an independent. Former Union Minister RK Singh is the BJP candidate from Ara. Whereas, there is a contest between Lalu Yadav’s elder daughter Misa Bharti and BJP’s Ramkripal Yadav from Patliputra seat. At the same time, there is a contest between Akali Dal’s Harsimrat Kaur Badal and BJP’s Parampal Kaur Sidhu on Punjab’s Bathinda seat. The fate of former CM Charanjit Singh Channi and Preneet Kaur is also going to be decided today in Punjab. BJP’s Sanjay Tandon is challenging Congress’ Manish Tiwari on Chandigarh seat.
