Para (Naiduniya News). On Wednesday, people created a ruckus in the city’s Anu Public School after a student was assaulted over prayer. The police had also registered an FIR in the matter. Taking this matter seriously, the Education Department had given instructions to investigate the school. On Thursday, a two-member investigation team reached the school, but the school was locked. BRC Rama Mahesh Solanki told that at present I am in the meeting, the matter is being investigated.
Dinesh Bhabar, father of the injured student Devraj, told that every day at the end of the school, the English prayer of the missionary is called to the students. Since my son never remembered any such prayer. Therefore, the operator deliberately asked my son to pray and when Devraj did not say the prayer, he beat him up in front of the students present. When this matter came to my knowledge, when the police reached the outpost to get the FIR done, then the policemen present started reluctant to write the FIR.
Police did not take any action for three hours
Hundreds of people sat on dharna at the bus stand for beating the student and not registering the FIR, yet for three hours the Para Police did not take any action. TI Surendra Singh Gadaria and ASI Shyam Kumawat reached Para from Jhabua at around 5 pm. While explaining to the agitated people, he lodged an FIR after getting the medical done. Earlier, angry people burnt the effigy of the police and the school operator. Jhabua police station in-charge Surendra Singh says that a case has been registered. The search is on for the accused. Block Education Officer Shankardayal Sirothia says that he has not received the information. Appropriate action will be taken on receipt of complaint.
