Chandigarh Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that Lord Shri Ram is a symbol of our culture, tradition and ‘Indianness’. His life shows us the path of truth, religion, duty and dignity. They are sources of our inspiration.
On the occasion of Ram Navami, the Chief Minister interacted through video conferencing to the migrant Haryanvi community in Paris, France. The event was organized by the Foreign Cooperation Department of Haryana Government.
The Chief Minister, on this auspicious festival, gave heartfelt greetings and congratulations to everyone and said that the whole country is buzzing in the name of Lord Rama. There is a boom of Shri Ram’s birth anniversary from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. There is an amazing atmosphere of devotion all around. The tune of Shri Ram and the echo of hymns are heard in every direction. Not only India, but also in abroad, crores of devotees are celebrating this festival with enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
He said that Ram Navami gives us an opportunity to remember the ideals and life values of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. We also learn from Lord Rama that we should stay connected with our birthplace. His life teaches us how to go on the path of truth and duty while being patient even in difficult circumstances. His personality teaches us to discharge family and social responsibilities. Their ideals are inspiration for us. His birthplace Ayodhya is a source of energy for every Indian.
He said that the grand, divine and Navya Shri Ram temple built in Ayodhya is the pride of India and is the center of faith of the countrymen.
The Chief Minister said that he still remembers the scenes of 22 January 2024, when the whole country was celebrating Diwali at the time of Shri Ram Lala’s life in Ayodhya. It is the result of our virtuous deeds that we become witness to that moment. This festival of Rama Navami is not only a celebration of the birth of Lord Rama, but also to adopt his ideals.
The Chief Minister said that the life of Lord Shri Ram teaches us that those who walk on the path of truth may have to face many difficulties, but eventually victory is of truth. Shri Ram’s ideals are guides not only in our personal life, but also in society and nation building. Today, when we are moving towards the creation of “developed Haryana-developed India”, we should take inspiration from the ideals of Lord Shri Ram and discharge our responsibilities.
He said that the mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’ is also an attempt to realize the ideals of Ram Rajya. It is our good fortune that the Prime Minister will also inaugurate air service from Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar on 14 April to Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya.
The Chief Minister said that on this Ram Navami, we all take a pledge that we will retain the atmosphere of peace, prosperity and harmony in our society and state.
The dialogue program was attended by Advisor Pawan Kumar Chaudhary in the Department of External Affairs Cooperation, First Secretary (Community and Student Welfare) Varsha Nimbalkar in Paris, Lalit Sharma, President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad France, Joint General Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (International) and other dignitaries including Swami Vigyananand.
