Udaipur. Patwari, a woman who weighed the land of ‘justice’ in the name of ‘nomination’ at the cost of bribe, finally got caught in the web of ACB. Udaipur, the Intelligence Unit of the Anti -Corruption Bureau (ACB), on Tuesday arrested the woman Patwari Priyanka Nalveya posted in Loyra area of Udaipur district, taking a bribe of eight thousand rupees.

Demand for spending, work condition

The complainant told ACB in writing that he and his relatives had bought agricultural land in Hathidhar, Loyra region. When he met Patwari Priyanka Nalvaya to start the process of nomination, he said directly-“The work will be done only when there are eight thousand rupees of spends and water.” Not only the bribe was demanded, but the original registry of the two women was kept with them and the condition was kept that the documents would be returned only when the money would be given.

E-Mitra made medium

Patwari resorted to technical ‘cleverness’ to transfer money. It was ordered that the cash amount should be given to them by transferring online to the e-Mitra center located in front. When the entire fabric of this ‘digital bribe’ came in the eyes of ACB, action was decided.

ACB’s strong action

On the instructions of the ACB headquarters, the Udaipur Intelligence Unit laid a trap under the leadership of Inspector of Police Dr. Sonu Shekhawat and on May 8, accused Patwari Priyanka Nalvaya arrested red -handed taking bribe. The action was taken under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Inspector General Rajendra Prasad Goyal.

Now a case has been registered against the accused under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (amended). Under the direction of Additional Director General Smita Srivastava, inquiry and intensive investigation is on. ACB is also investigating whether this ‘system’ has become a normal behavior among the patwaris?

This case is not only the arrest of a person, but also a question on the mechanism that makes justice hostage in exchange for a piece of land. If the public is forced to pay ‘fees’ of eight-eight thousand for normal work like ‘nomination’, then it is not just corruption, the term of the system.
