Uttar Pradesh News Desk: There was a stir due to the disappearance of case diaries of serious cases like kidnapping, fraud, molestation, attempt to murder and seven CLA from Kalyanpur police station. Even after extensive searching, case diaries of 11 cases could not be found. Immediately, on the complaint of the head inspector of the police station, an FIR was registered against nine policemen including seven sub-inspectors, one head constable and head inspector.
Head Constable Pratap Bhan Singh has been working as Head Inspector in Kalyanpur police station since August 29. Kalyanpur Inspector Sudhir Kumar summoned Pratap Bhan to bring case diaries of several cases. The Head Inspector tried to find the case diaries of the cases sought by the Inspector in the records kept in the clerk’s office of the police station, but the case diaries of 11 cases from the year 2008 to 2014 were found missing from the records. All these case diaries were received from the court. After interrogating the investigators of related cases, no satisfactory answer could be found. After this, a report has been registered against all the investigators on the complaint of the head clerk. Kalyanpur Inspector said that the matter is being investigated after registering a report.
Charge sheet on former police station in-charge accused of gold scandal
