Lucknow . An employee of the State Museum has been missing from his office in Lucknow Zoo since May 4 and the police have no clue about his whereabouts.
According to the police, Warif Ansari had left his vehicle and belongings at his office and went somewhere on foot on May 4.
The FIR was registered following a complaint by his family members.
Ansari, a resident of Napier Colony of Thakurganj, had left the house on May 4 in connection with work.
His family got worried when he did not return home. He didn’t even answer any phone calls.
Later when his family members reached his office, the staff told him that he had left his bike and other belongings including his phone in the office.
SHO Hazratganj Shyam Babu Shukla said teams have been formed to trace Ansari and his call details have been scanned. But he had left his phone in the office, it is difficult to trace him through surveillance.
“However, we are doing CCTV scans of the surrounding areas,” he said.
