In this episode, Gajraraja Medical College in Gwalior Municipal Corporation and Jairogya Group, the largest hospital of the region, have been given attachment notice for payment of dues of water tax.
This amount is said to be about four crore rupees. The medical college owes 1.5 crore rupees and Jairogya Hospital about 2.5 crore rupees due to water tax. For recovery of this outstanding amount, several times notices were issued by the corporation to the hospital management. But the amount related to water tax was not deposited by the hospital management. In such a situation, now the corporation has issued attachment warrants against the dean of the medical college and the superintendent of Jayarogya.
It has been said in the notice that this amount should be recovered by attaching the property of his government car office. Gwalior Municipal Corporation Commissioner Kishor Kanyal says that whether it is a private building or a government one, everyone will have to pay other taxes including water tax on time. Only then the development of the city is possible. In this episode, this notice has been issued. It is worth mentioning that before this, the Municipal Corporation has also served notices to Jiwaji University and Gwalior Development Authority.
