Balaghat (Rep. of New Zealand). Balaghat has not received any big gift in the budget of Madhya Pradesh. The people of the district, who were hoping for many important demands like medical college, flyover bridge, have increased their frustration. Along with getting the GI tag, emphasis has been laid on giving them special recognition in the national and international market. No tax has been increased in this budget. Whereas the government has paid more attention to rural infrastructure. Emphasis has been laid on including fisheries, agriculture and self-help groups to make them self-reliant in new areas of self-employment.
In the field of agriculture, Madhya Pradesh has shone with Chinnaur getting the GI tag. Government and administration have started taking steps to give it a special identity in the international market. With Chinnaur getting GI tag, other crops in the state are also getting strength. The Madhya Pradesh government has emphasized on giving special recognition in the national and international market by giving GI tag to Sharbati wheat, Pipariya tur, black moustache rice and Jeera Shankar. That after Chinnaur, efforts are being made to get GI tag for other crops in the state. Efforts are on to get GI tag for Sehore and Sagar’s Sharbati wheat along with Pipariya’s Tur, Jeera Shankar and Black Mustache rice. The government and administration have also taken steps to get GI tag for Chanauli of Balaghat. Chinnaur getting GI tag has boosted the interest of the government in the field of agriculture.
Water once again on the hope of medical college
The long-standing demand of the residents of the district for medical college in Balaghat has not been fulfilled. This year also, the gift of medical college in Balaghat has not been received in the budget. While the exercise started in the Congress government for this has cooled down after the change of government. For this, the administration has reserved about 12 acres of land in Dongria.

Balaghat has better health services than neighboring districts. For their development as well as expansion, it is necessary to have a medical college in the district. For this the administration has already reserved land in Dongria keeping in mind the future plan. Balaghat will be further strengthened in the field of medicine with the opening of a medical college.

Madhya Pradesh government has not increased any new tax in its new budget. In this budget, the government has taken care of every section. Emphasis has been laid on increasing participation in new areas of self-employment for women. There has been talk of restarting the pilgrimage scheme. On the other hand, due to the gift of medical college in Seoni Mandla district, it will also get strength in Balaghat.

The Madhya Pradesh government has presented a relief budget. Many old proposed schemes have been included in the budget earlier. Every class is taken care of. In the case of flyover in Balaghat, then any scheme is included in the budget only once. In the future, the government will also pay attention in this direction. This will also work.
Ramesh Ranglani
Former District President BJP
Madhya Pradesh government has taken care of every section in the new budget. The budget is balanced. There is no provision for any new tax. The emphasis is on infrastructure for economic development. Keeping in mind the horrors of Corona, the medical college has been gifted with the intention of increasing the medical facilities in the neighboring districts. Employee class has also been taken care of in this budget.

The government has neglected the district in the new budget. The people of Balaghat have been waiting for a long time for the expansion of rail service as well as the medical college with flyover bridge. The schemes included by the government in the last budget. The work of those flyover bridges has not started yet. In the new budget, Seoni-Mandla has got the gift of medical college, but Balaghat has been neglected. Whereas in Balaghat state, Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh is also the focal point of two other states.

The government is emphasizing on increasing industry and increasing employment opportunities. But it is not able to control the rising prices of expensive electricity and petrol and diesel. Due to which industries are not able to get off the ground even after having land. The government is expected to reform policies to get the plans on the ground.
– Abhay Sethia, President Chamber of Commerce
They say… The government is talking about emphasizing on increasing small scale industries. But the industries which are on the verge of closure are not working towards saving them. The plan decided in the enterprise conference has also not been included in this budget. The possibilities of industries are more in Balaghat.

Today the budget for the financial 2022-23 has been presented by the Madhya Pradesh government. Seeing that, it seems that the government is not worried about the common man. Simultaneously, one and a half lakh rupees are being given to build houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In that iron has become 80 kg instead of 40 kg and the rate of cement has increased. After the Corona period, no attention has been paid to medical facilities, education and employment. It seems to me that this budget will only extract people’s oil. This budget does not seem to me to be a budget of interest. This budget is a budget for the interest of the government, not a budget for the interest of the common citizen.
