New Delhi. Transport Minister S.S. Shivshankar in Tamil Nadu’s DMK government has made a very objectionable comment about Lord Ram. He questioned the existence of Lord Ram and said that there is no historical evidence related to Ram which proves that he actually existed. Now the saint community and BJP have retaliated by expressing strong displeasure over this statement of the Tamil Nadu minister.
Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh: On Tamil Nadu minister’s statement on Lord Ram, Patalpuri Peethadheeshwar Mahant Balak Das says, “Such ministers lack religious faith, know nothing of history. They do such things to earn their political bread. There is no need for such people to stay… pic.twitter.com/ckw3hjoZ76

Patalpuri’s Peethadheeshwar Mahant Balak Das lashed out at the Tamil Nadu minister and said, these ministers and guards do not know anything about history, geography and religion. If their mothers have breastfed them, then just speak about Allah and the Maulvis, their mind will be fine. The talk of beheading will start immediately. The Hindu public is peace loving, they do not want to say anything, otherwise their minister would have been in danger by now. If it was a matter of another religion, by now a large number of people would have come out on the streets with candles. A large number of people would have come out with swords. Today anyone is making absurd comments about Sanatan Dharma, raising questions on the existence of our gods and goddesses, I think now the time has come when such people should be taught a lesson.
Mahant Balak Das said that wherever such leaders want to make political gains, they say anything against anyone. The height of stupidity of these people has reached its peak. They are ministers but they do not know about Valmiki Ramayana or Tulsidas’ Ramcharit Manas. On the other hand, Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai wrote on social media, just last week, DMK Law Minister Thiru Raghupati had declared that Lord Shri Ram was the supreme champion of social justice, pioneer of secularism and a person who proclaimed equality for all. Now another minister of his own government is giving such a statement, what should be the meaning of this.
