Mysuru Maharaja Net Worth: The era of kings and princely states in the country ended in 1947 as soon as independence was achieved, but the glory and honor of the princely states still persists. Many former royal families in India have immense wealth. These include expensive palaces, cars and land spread over miles. But, there is one Maharaja among them who neither has his own house, nor a car, nor any land. It is surprising that this famous state is talked about in the entire country. People will not be able to digest this for some time but it is true. Because, this Maharaja himself has made this claim in his election affidavit.
This Maharaja is none other than Yaduveer Krishnadutt Chamaraja Wadiyar, a descendant of the former royal family of Mysore, who is contesting from Mysore-Kodagu Lok Sabha seat on BJP ticket. A report published on Moneycontrol said that as per his election affidavit, he does not own a house, land or even a car.

Became Maharaja at the age of 23
Yaduveer Krishnadutt Chamaraja Wadiyar is not the first person in his family to enter politics. Earlier, Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar contested elections on both Congress and BJP tickets between 1984 and 2004. He won four times and faced defeat both times.
Pramoda Devi Wadiyar adopted Yaduveer Krishnadutt in 2013, a year after the death of her husband SDNR. An economics graduate from the University of Massachusetts, YKC was crowned the new ‘Maharaja’ of the 600-year-old Wadiyar dynasty in 2015 at the age of 23.
