Amravati. Amravati Airport was inaugurated in Maharashtra on Wednesday. Expressing happiness, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke of promoting business and contact.

At the inauguration of the airport in Amravati, Union Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, State Aviation Minister Muralidhar Mohol, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar were present. PM Modi shared a picture of the airport opening on social media platform ‘X’, writing, “There is good news for Maharashtra, especially Vidarbha region. The formation of an active airport in Amravati will promote trade and connectivity.”
Union Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Kinjrapu described it as a milestone. He wrote on ‘X’, “Wednesday is a historic day for Vidarbha. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar got the privilege of inaugurating Amravati Airport. Under Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership, this RCS-VGF financed airport will fly with the first RCS Amravati-Mumbai flight of the airport, the first RCS Amravati-Mumbai flight. A demo flight was also seen in the Flying Training Organization (FTO), which is a major jump for India’s overall aviation ecosystem. “
Expressing happiness at the inauguration of the airport, State Aviation Minister Muralidhar Mohol wrote on ‘X’, “The first flight service of Alliance Air, Mumbai-Amravati-Mumbai was launched and a demonstration flight was also launched by Air India’s flight training organization. It is a historic milestone for the development of Vidarbha. A historic milestone has been installed for the development of Vidarbha. A pilgrimage institute has been installed along with the flight services as well as a pilot training institute through this air India. It will be the largest training center in India with an investment and capacity of 180 pilots per year. This airport will promote the textile industry as well as the spiritual and eco-percene sector. “
He wrote, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s developed India will definitely contribute significantly in completing the development of 2047 and the positive changes that have taken place in this area in the last ten years are historic. 74 airports have been built in the country in 70 years since independence. In the last 11 years, the number of these airports has reached 160. The number of these airports has reached 160 due to the available facilities. More than 600 are in airline and by 2027, 1,100 will be in airline.
