Mumbai In Maharashtra, the game of political upheaval in Shiv Sena is now expected to come out in the assembly. According to sources, in the meeting held on Friday between Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray, it was decided to call a session of the Assembly and move a motion of trust vote in it. According to Shiv Sena sources, Uddhav Thackeray did not agree to this at first, but Sharad Pawar convinced him that if Mahavikas Aghadi MVA proves majority in the floor test in the assembly, then Eknath Shinde will also get a lesson and BJP will get the rest of the term. For almost two and a half years, there will be no chance to raise your head again.
Mathematics of statistics is of great importance in the new move of Uddhav and Sharad Pawar. There are total 288 seats in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. One seat is vacant. That is, out of 287 members, 144 is the majority. Shiv Sena had 55 MLAs before the rebellion. Now 40 of them are with Eknath Shinde. NCP has 53 MLAs and Congress 44. At the same time, BJP has 106 MLAs and the strength of its alliance with smaller parties and independents reaches 114. Earlier, Sharad Pawar has said that under the rules, the test of majority can be done only on the floor of the assembly. The Supreme Court has also given the same decision in Bommai case. Sharad Pawar has also said that when the rebel MLAs return to Mumbai, their sentiments can also change. However, Eknath Shinde, the leader who rebelled against Uddhav, has also claimed that he currently has 40 MLAs with him and this number is going to reach 50. Now the eyes of Shiv Sena and NCP are to somehow persuade the MLAs who went to Shinde camp and bring them back to Uddhav’s side. Although Uddhav has also tried this, but he could not get success.
Meanwhile, after the meeting with Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray issued a statement targeting the rebels. He even said that there were many of them who could not win the assembly elections. Despite this, I gave him a ticket and won. Uddhav also said that such people who are rebelling today are treacherous. Overall, Shiv Sena and NCP are playing all kinds of tricks together. Whereas, the rebel MLAs are still not seen leaving Eknath Shinde’s side.
