Police laid siege, arrested and sent to jail: The accused, who was absconding for two years in the attempt to murder case, has been arrested by the police. The Superintendent of Police had announced a reward of five thousand rupees for his arrest. Panagar police station in-charge RK Soni said that an FIR was registered against Sonu Yadav, a resident of Nai Basti Pariyat, in the year 2019 under sections including attempt to murder, SCST and other sections. He was absconding since the date of the incident. The possible hideouts were being raided for his arrest. The reward report was sent to the Superintendent of Police’s office for his arrest. Agreeing with which Superintendent of Police Siddharth Bahuguna announced the reward. Meanwhile, it came to know from the informer that Sonu Yadav has come to his house. After which the police team raided and laid siege and arrested him. The accused was produced in the court. He has been sent to jail on the directions of the court.
