New Delhi. The troubles of TMC MP Mahua Moitra, who are surrounded by allegations of cash for query i.e. asking questions in Parliament by taking money and gifts, are not showing any sign of ending. His old friend and lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai, who accused Mahua of cash for query, has made fresh allegations. In his latest allegations, Jai Anant Dehadrai has called Mahua Moitra a pathological liar i.e. one who always lies. Jai Ananth Dehadrai’s post on X about the TMC MP also mentions Rs 2 crore, furniture and an expensive Rolex watch. He has raised the question that how were the questions sent to Dubai? Jai Anant Dehadrai has alleged that Mahua Moitra’s speeches against PM Modi were prepared in Canning Lane. Jai Anant Dehadrai also alleged that Mahua Moitra tried to forcibly keep his dog Henry with her. Mahua Moitra has not yet responded to Dehadrai’s latest allegations.

Jai Anant Dehadrai and Mahua Moitra had a good friendship. Then there was a conflict between the two because of Dehadrai’s dog named Henry. After this, recently Jai had written a letter to CBI accusing Mahua of cash for query. In his letter, he had mentioned date after date how Mahua took money and gifts from businessman Darshan Hiranandani and asked questions in his favor in the Parliament. Jai Anant Dehadrai has alleged that to benefit Hiranandani, the TMC MP asked questions in Parliament against his business rival Gautam Adani and defamed PM Modi. It was also alleged that the MP had given the Parliament login ID and password to Darshan Hiranandani and he used to write questions and send them from Dubai. Mahua admitted that she gave the ID and password to Darshan Hiranandani, but denied the allegations of forwarding questions without seeing and taking money or expensive gifts.
Dehadrai’s complaint was sent by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and demanded an investigation. On which the Speaker had sent the matter to the Ethics Committee of Parliament. The Ethics Committee has investigated and given its report. At the same time, the BJP MP has also complained about Mahua to the Lokpal. Nishikant Dubey had recently claimed that the Lokpal has ordered a CBI inquiry against Mahua Moitra.
