In Haryana’s Hisar district, three women were killed and 11 others were injured when a pickup jeep overturned, some of whom are in critical condition. The police have started the investigation of the accident by sending the injured to the hospital for treatment as well as sending the bodies of the dead for postmortem.
Giving information about this on Sunday, the police said that the accident took place on the Hisar-Jind road in Narnaund on Saturday. Police said that a group of 14 women from Rajthal village of Hisar had gone to Sainiwas village of Bhiwani in a pickup jeep. When she was returning, suddenly a stray animal came in front of her jeep in Narnaund. Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to save the animal, which rammed into a tree on the side of the road.
Three women died in this accident. The deceased have been identified as Veermati Mann (57), Krishna (65) and Rani Pandit (47), police said. He said that the injured have been referred to hospitals in Hansi and Hisar for treatment. The jeep driver is also among the injured.
Police have started investigation into the accident by sending the bodies of the deceased women for postmortem. The police have also informed the families of the dead and injured about the accident.
