Coconut Laddu Recipe
Rakshabandhan is a festival of love and sweetness between brothers and sisters. While tying the rakhi, sisters feed sweets to their brothers. Brothers also feed sweets to their sisters after tying the rakhi. On this day, sisters pray for their brother’s long life and good health. This time on Rakshabandhan, celebrate the festival of Rakhi by making coconut dry fruit laddus for your brother. The special thing is that you will not even need sugar or syrup to make laddus. These laddus will be super healthy and very tasty. Know how to make coconut laddus at home without sugar and syrup?
How to make Coconut Dry Fruit Laddu Recipe:
step 1 – 4 tbsp Desi Ghee, 1/2 cup cashews, 1/2 cup almonds, 1/4 cup walnuts, 2 tsp sunflower seeds, 2 tsp pumpkin seeds, 2 tsp raisins, 4 cups coconut powder, 2 cups jaggery pieces, 1 tsp poppy seeds and cardamom powder to taste.
Step 2- To make coconut laddus, finely chop all the dry fruits. Now add 2 teaspoons of ghee in a pan and roast the nuts and seeds separately on low flame. If you want, you can roast them together as well.
Step 3- Now put the remaining ghee in the pan and add coconut and fry it on low flame. When the coconut is lightly fried, add jaggery pieces to it and let the jaggery melt while stirring it.
Step 4- When the jaggery starts leaving the pan, add all the roasted dry fruits to it and also mix poppy seeds and cardamom. After mixing everything, let the mixture cool down a bit.
Step 5- Now start making laddus while it is still slightly warm. Make laddus quickly by pressing the mixture, otherwise it will become difficult to make laddus when it cools down.
Step 6- Coconut laddus without sugar and syrup are ready. You can make and eat them on Rakshabandhan or any other festival. These laddus also help in weight loss.
