Jagdalpur. Under the skill development scheme, according to the demand and needs of Bastar division, by providing training to the youth of Bastar, employment arrangements should be ensured for them. During the review meeting of the divisional level officers held in the meeting room of the divisional commissioner’s office, Jagdalpur today, divisional commissioner Shyam Dhawade gave instructions to the officer in charge of skill development.
For this, according to the demand of Bastar division, he asked to ensure the arrangement of training by identifying trades with potential for early placement.
While reviewing the works of Food Department, Dhawade said that no family of Bastar division should be deprived of ration card. He said that providing adequate food to all is included in the top priority of the government, hence it is necessary to make ration card of 100 percent families. He also warned of strict action against the officers and employees who were negligent in this work.
Giving strict instructions to the Food Controller, Dhawade said that no family should be without ration card in Bastar division under any circumstances.
In relation to the definition of family, following the guidelines issued by the government, instructions have been given to make ration cards compulsorily for all the people considering husband, wife and children and stove as a unit. Dhawade made a loan book of 100 percent of the forest rights holders and asked them to get them registered in the Bhuinya portal. Apart from this, he asked all forest rights holders to make Kisan Credit Cards.
While reviewing the works of the Women and Child Development Department, took information regarding the number of malnourished and severely malnourished children district wise.
He also took information from the District Program Officer, Women and Child Development Department about the measures being taken to bring the children from malnutrition to the normal category and asked them to ensure all measures for this. Took information from Joint Director Health Services regarding the work of vaccination for the prevention of corona virus. He stressed on ensuring 100% institutional delivery in health centers and proper implementation of Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic.
Availability of basic amenities
In the meeting, Inspector General of Police Sundarraj P said that for the development of Bastar, along with peace and order, availability of basic facilities at all places is also very important. For which the government is making continuous efforts. He also assured to provide all possible help by the police department to complete the road, bridge culvert and other construction works in sensitive areas. Divisional level officers including Chief Conservator of Forests Jagdalpur Mohammad Shaheed and Chief Conservator of Forests Kanker Raju Agsimani, Deputy Commissioners BS Sidar and Madhuri Som were present in the meeting.
