Semolina Barfi Recipe
If people in your house like sweets, then instead of giving them sweets from outside, make a tasty sweet recipe for them at home. Today, we will tell you the recipe of semolina barfi. To make it, you do not even have to use mawa or ghee. But, the taste will be such that the family members will keep licking their fingers. So, let’s quickly know how to make semolina barfi?
Ingredients for Semolina Malai Barfi:
Semolina – 1 cup, cream – 1 cup, milk – half cup, sugar 1 cup, cardamom, almond pistachio flakes, almond pieces – 1 tablespoon
Method of making Semolina Malai Barfi:
First StepTo make semolina barfi, first turn on the gas. Place a pan on it. When the pan is hot, add semolina to it and fry it on medium flame until it becomes light golden (keep in mind not to roast it too much). When the semolina is roasted, turn off the gas. Now take out this semolina in a vessel.
second step: Now, add one cup of cream in the pan (the cream should not be more than three days old). Now the cream will slowly melt. Keep stirring it. Since you are making semolina barfi without mawa, ghee and sugar syrup, we have used cream for taste. When the cream melts well, add half a cup of milk and stir both well on medium flame. Now crush some cardamom and add it to it.
Step 3: Now add roasted semolina to this mixture and mix well. Now reduce the flame of the gas to medium so that it can be roasted well. Now add 1 cup sugar to it and cook well. Turn off the gas after some time.
Fourth Step: Now take a plate to freeze the barfi and add half a teaspoon of ghee in it and spread it well all around. Now pour the semolina mixture in the plate. To get a good shape of the barfi, press the mixture and make it uniform and add some almond and pistachio pieces on top. Now keep it aside for 2 to 3 hours to freeze. After three hours, cut this mixture into the shape of barfi. Now, enjoy the flavorful barfi. You can consume this barfi for a week.
Note: It is very easy to make semolina malai barfi. But, roasting semolina on medium flame only makes it taste amazing.
