This dish is one of the famous dishes of Bhutan. It is also called the national dish here. Let us tell you, this recipe is made only with a combination of green chillies and cheese. You may find it strange to read this but this is a vegetable prepared only with chilli and cheese. Seeing this, you will feel that it will be very spicy but it is not so. Its taste is so amazing that you will be forced to lick your fingers. This recipe is very easy to make. The delicious taste of this dish will make you its own. This is a kind of vegetable which is eaten with rice, you can eat it even without rice. So, let’s know how to make this recipe?
Ingredients for making Ima Datshi:
2 types of chillies (slightly spicy and medium spicy), 7 to 8 cloves of chopped garlic, 2 slices of cheese, black pepper powder, salt, water
How to make Ima Datshi:
Step 1: To make Ima Datshi, first slit the semi-spicy and medium-spicy chillies from the middle and throw away their seeds. Now, take 7 to 8 cloves of chopped garlic and crush them finely.
Second Steps:Now turn on the gas and place a pan. When the pan gets hot, add 1 tablespoon oil in it. After that, mix chillies and garlic together in the oil. Fry them well. After a few seconds, turn the gas to medium flame, add 2 cups of water and put a lid on the pan.
Step 3: After 10-12 minutes, remove the lid of the pan and add 2 slices of cheese to it. When the cheese melts, add a pinch of black pepper powder and salt and mix well. Mix everything well once again. Turn off the gas after 10 minutes. Now, enjoy this recipe with rice
