Behrampur. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary has fiercely targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He described the Left parties and Congress as the biggest strength of West Bengal. He said, “BJP, as part of its conspiracy, wants to deprive people of the right to vote.” He termed the claims and promises being made by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee amid the Lok Sabha elections as hollow. Along with this, he described the Shaktipur riots as the result of a well-planned conspiracy.
The Congress leader further said, “Mamata Banerjee wants to retain Muslim votes by speaking against sages and saints. Mamta is currently busy in the politics of polarization.” He further said, “Mamata Banerjee is nervous because of Congress and Left parties emerging as a big force. They don’t understand what to do to keep their fort safe, so they are running around here and there, but they are not going to get much benefit from all this.”
For the last few days, Adhir Ranjan has been in the news for giving statements against Mamata Banerjee and TMC. Even Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had reprimanded him. In fact, Choudhary, a five-time Lok Sabha member from Baharampur seat in West Bengal, had said last week that Mamata Banerjee cannot be trusted and she (Mamata) can go with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), regarding which Kharge criticized him. Was criticized.
Choudhary had alleged in his remarks that the Chief Minister uses violence to crush the Congress and is helping the BJP. However, after a few days, Kharge’s tone seemed to have changed and on Monday he called Congress’s West Bengal unit president Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, who raised questions about the credibility of Mamata Banerjee, as a ‘fighting soldier’ of the party. TMC is contesting the Lok Sabha elections alone in the state, while Congress and Left parties are contesting the elections together.
The Congress President was asked whether the Congress was making the same mistake with Chaudhary as it had done with Mamata in 1998, who left the party to form her own party in protest against the Left’s ‘atrocities’ on party workers in Bengal. Had given. On this question, Kharge told PTI, “I do not want to speak about any one person. Chaudhary is a fighting soldier of the Congress Party and our leader in West Bengal.”
