Ambala. Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij reacted to the protests of Waqf law in West Bengal and blamed the government’s vote bank politics for this.
Anil Vij said that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is fond of watching “real time action films”, in which “the streets are on fire, shops keep burning and people keep exploiting each other.”
Questioning the policies of the Trinamool supremo, he said that his government has failed to handle law and order. Mamta Banerjee’s politics is being done keeping in mind the “vote bank”, due to which unrest in the state is increasing.
The BJP leader, while supporting changes in Waqf law, said that these reforms will ensure transparency and accountability.
At the same time, Vij also attacked senior Congress party leader Digvijay Singh fiercely. The Congress leader recently accused X of being a “ISI agent” of 10 BJP leaders in a post on X. Vij, describing Digvijay as “Sathiyaya”, taunted that “the stories of Chanda Mama were told, now Digvijay Singh’s stories come.”
Accusing the Congress of joining hands with anti -national forces, he said that no BJP leader can do such an act. Vij described Digvijay Singh’s statement as the result of “political frustration” and said that the Congress had lost its credibility.
Vij also made a statement about Tawwur Rana, convicted of the 26/11 Mumbai attack. He said, “Tehvvur Rana, responsible for the death of 166 people, will now speak like a parrot and will spew all the secrets on whose behest he did all this.”
He appreciated the central government’s policy of “zero tolerance” against terrorism and said that such criminals would not be spared.
