New Delhi,. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of Delhi is preparing to celebrate the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in a grand manner. On this occasion, the Delhi government organized a marathon on Sunday, in which thousands of people attended.
The race was flagged off by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Education Minister Ashish Sood.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “The Delhi government is fully committed to walking on the path shown by Baba Saheb and assimilating his principles. Baba Saheb taught us to live with respect and taught the lesson of equality. Today’s event is our tribute to him.”
He further said that the goal of the Delhi government is that every citizen should get his rights and there should be an atmosphere of equality and justice in the society. Baba Saheb was not just to say, but to live. We not only have to remember them, but also live their ideals through their actions.
Education Minister Ashish Sood also shared his views on the occasion. He said, “This event of Ambedkar Jayanti is a great opportunity to connect the youth with Baba Saheb’s views. We cannot forget their contribution in the field of education. Delhi government is committed to realize their dreams through education.”
Hundreds of school children and youth involved in the marathon participated with enthusiasm, which led to a different enthusiasm in the event.
In the marathon, the participants raised slogans in honor of Baba Saheb and gave a message to convey their views to the people. The people involved in the event called it an inspirational experience. A participant, Ramesh Kumar, said, “This race was not just physical, but a race for social awareness. Baba Saheb’s thoughts still inspire us.”
The Delhi government has also organized various cultural programs on the occasion, including plays, music and speech competitions. The purpose of these programs is to bring Baba Saheb’s life and his contribution to the younger generation.
