Among the Nifty pack stocks, Tata Motors recorded the biggest decline of 3.32 percent. Apart from this, Tata Steel fell by 2.92 percent, Eicher Motors by 2.91 percent, Maruti by 2.49 percent and ONGC by 2.31 percent. On the other hand, the biggest gain was recorded in ITC by 0.84 percent, Hindustan Unilever by 0.82 percent, Apollo Hospital by 0.59 percent, Nestle India by 0.46 percent and Tata Consumer by 0.45 percent.

Talking about sectoral indices, the maximum decline was recorded in Nifty Auto at 1.87 percent. Apart from this, Nifty Bank fell by 0.75 percent, Nifty Financial Services by 0.66 percent, Nifty IT by 0.79 percent, Nifty Media by 0.05 percent, Nifty Metal by 1.55 percent, Nifty Pharma by 0.29 percent, Nifty PSU Bank by 1.27 percent, Nifty Private Bank by 0.75 percent, Nifty Realty by 1.14 percent, Nifty Healthcare Index by 0.30 percent, Nifty Consumer Durables by 0.36 percent, Nifty Oil & Gas by 0.89 percent and Nifty Midsmall Healthcare by 0.40 percent. On the other hand, Nifty FMCG rose by 0.43 percent.
