An incident has come to light from Mohanlalganj in Uttar Pradesh which has shocked the society, while the sensitivity and humanity that the police has introduced is touching the hearts of the people. Here a married woman died after being cut off from a train, but a scene came out about her funeral which changed the meaning of humanity and relationships.
According to the information, the deceased woman was married in Unnao district. After many years of marriage, she left her husband and started living with her lover in Gaura Colony in Mohanlalganj. This step of the woman passed away to both her in-laws and maiden and both sides broke all the relationship with her.
On Tuesday night, the woman died tragically after being cut off from the train. Police reached the spot and identified the body. After this, the woman’s lover was informed about the incident, but the lover refused to perform the last rites citing financial constraints.
When the police contacted the woman’s maternal uncle in Sikanderpur, there was no help from there either. The maternal grandfather also refused the funeral. In such a situation, the question arose in front of the police that who would perform the funeral of that woman?
On receiving the information about this sensitive case, ACP Mohanlalganj Rajneesh Verma showed readiness and showed his policemen to help, showing humanity. Daroga Saurabh and his team together took full responsibility of the woman’s funeral.
The ACP himself made necessary arrangements by giving money and the police team gave the body a funeral with full Hindu customs. In the last journey of the woman who left his family, the police gave him the honor that his loved ones should get.
This incident has now become a topic of discussion in the entire Mohanlalganj and surrounding areas. This human initiative of UP Police is being appreciated among the people. While on one hand the society turns away from fear of selfishness and slander in relationships, the UP police not only showed sensitivity, but also gave a message to the society that there is no more relationship than humanity.
This incident is not just the tragedy of a woman, but also a mirror for the society – in which police service rises above the spirit and duty and plays the responsibility of the funeral of a human being. This initiative of Mohanlalganj police definitely makes ‘Khaki’ the biggest example of humanity.
