The Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Police has arrested a vicious criminal whose story is no less than a detective film. 37 -year -old Saeed Ishan Bukhari alias Dr. Ishan Bukhari, a resident of Kupwara district of Kashmir, used to cheat himself by calling himself a neurosurgeon, sometimes army doctor, and sometimes an officer of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). When the police came to know about his forgery documents and plans to change disguise, they were also surprised.

Frauds specializing in changing disguise

The thug, arrested from Nauulpur village in Jaipur district of Odisha, had been carrying out fraud in different states for a long time. The STF was caught on the basis of secret information, from which more than 100 fake documents, fake certificates of foreign degrees, Aadhaar cards, check books, ATM cards and visiting cards were recovered.

US degree and fake certificates of medical colleges

Saeed Ishan described himself as a graduate from Cornell University (America). Apart from this, he had also built fake medical degrees from Christian Medical College and Canadian Institute of Health Services, Tamil Nadu. He used to become a doctor by using these degrees to assure people and used to fake jobs and relationships in many places.

Claims of relationship with NIA and ISI

The most surprising thing is that he used to call himself close to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials. Not only this, STF officials revealed that he had also told some people that he also had contact with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. However, the police have not confirmed its relationship with ISI at present, the investigation is on.

Marry six women and many love affairs

The personal life of this fraudster was also filled with forgery. According to the police, she has married at least six women including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Kashmir. Apart from this, he was active on various websites and apps and used to trap women in his trap by making fake profiles.

Networks spread across the country, police alert of many states

STF Inspector General JN Pankaj said that a case has been registered against the accused under several sections of IPC. Also, a joint team of Kashmir, Punjab and Odisha Police is questioning him. The Kashmir Police had already issued a non-bailable warrant on him.

Concern on national security

The case has not only exposed the pole of cyber fraud and identity forgery, but has also clarified how a person was cheating the public by taking the name of the country’s security agencies, medical institutions and government machinery. The question arises that how did he survive for so many years and is any organized gang active behind it?

STF in contact with NIA

Currently, STF has informed that they are in touch with the NIA and all documents are being handed over for investigation. The possibility of terrorist conspiracy in this case is also not being ruled out, but no concrete evidence has been found so far.
