A case of death of a married woman under suspicious circumstances has come to light on Thursday afternoon in Pajayi locality of Bateshwar located in Bah area of the district. Around two o’clock, the body of the woman was found lying on the bed in the room on the first floor of the house. The ants were crawling on the dead body and there were clear marks of sliding on the face, due to which the family has feared murder.
Married woman was missing since Wednesday, missing in -laws
The deceased has been identified as 26 -year -old Sunita (name changed), who was married to a young man from Bateshwar a few years ago. On Wednesday, the maternal grandfather was informed from the in -laws that Sunita has gone somewhere and no one is able to find them. On hearing this news, the maternal uncle got upset and started searching for him.
On Thursday, when the maternal in -laws reached the in -laws, they were surprised to see the scene there. Sunita’s body was lying on the bed in the room on the first floor of the house. Seeing the condition of the dead body, it seemed that it had been a long time for his death, as ants were crawling on the body and the face was partially mutilated.
The maternal grandfather accused the husband of murder
Seeing the dead body, the anger of the maternal grandfather erupted. He directly accused Sunita’s husband of murder and said that he used to torture her in advance. Family members say that there was frequent domestic dispute with Sunita and she had come to her maternal home and expressed her pain.
The family also alleges that the in -laws deliberately reported the disappearance to mislead them, while the body was already present in the house.
Police sent body for postmortem, investigation started
As soon as the information of the incident was received, Bah police station reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem. The police investigated the room and gathered evidence from the spot.
The station in -charge said that the investigation has been started in view of the seriousness of the case. Further action will be taken based on the statement of the deceased’s maternal uncle. After the post -mortem report, the cause of death can be clearly known.
