Ambikapur (Naiduniya Representative). Medical students from Surguja, Balrampar district, are desperate to return to the country after the war between Russia and Ukraine broke out. Medical students are arriving at the Romanian border from Ukraine after the Indian government started airlines. There is a long process to go through to enter Romania. Students have informed about the presence of about five thousand Indians on the border of Ukraine and Romania. They want to come to India as soon as possible. Three students from Ambikapur city have left Ukraine and reached the Romanian border. A student has left for the Romanian border by bus from the medical college on Sunday afternoon. The students are now waiting for the flight so that they can return to the country.
Shubhashish Mishra, son of teacher Parmeshwar Mishra, resident of Kusmi, studies in Tarnopil Medical College, Ukraine. Had left on Saturday afternoon to complete the journey of about five hundred kilometers by bus. The bus could not go ahead because of the jam before the Romanian border. Shubhashish’s father Parmeshwar Mishra told that after walking about 25 to 30 kms, the students of his medical college along with Shubhashish reached the border of Romania at 2 o’clock Indian time, but after that they are stuck on the border of Ukraine. According to the father, there are about five thousand Indians there. According to the discussion with the son, he told that even after reaching the border at his own expense by risking his life, it is not decided when he will get entry into Romania. There is an atmosphere of chaos. The distance of Romania’s airport from the border is also quite high. Right now women from Ukraine are also being sent outside the same border, so there is a problem. First priority is being given to indigenous women. In the midst of severe cold, everyone is waiting for their turn. Shivam Singh, a resident of Ambikapur, had also left for the Romania border on Saturday afternoon. After completing the journey of about eight hundred kilometers, they are also waiting for the flight to return to the country. All of them will return to the country soon.

Arunav Vikram Sinha, son of Rajesh Sinha, resident of Darripara in Ambikapur, also studies in Tarnopil Medical College. His father told that Arunav had left for the Romanian border on Sunday afternoon. They will reach the border after traveling for about eight to ten hours. All the students have also arranged for three-four days’ food (dry fruits) so that if it takes a few days, then it is not being told that it is cold on the border. At minus five degree temperature, all the medical students are waiting for their turn to return to the country.

The relatives are keeping an eye on the news coming in the newspapers along with various news channels and internet media. His happiness has been snatched away. Nodal officer Neelam Toppo said that the helpline number had come from the Ministry of External Affairs. We have sent those numbers to the relatives of the medical students and the students whose numbers were there. He said that the helpline numbers which were received so that the children can contact the Indian Embassy officials, have been issued to all of them so that the children can get in touch with them.
