After this, Amit Shah mentioned some paragraphs from the Supreme Court’s decision. He said that he would like to draw attention to Para 86, Para 95 and especially Para 164 of the Act in the order of the Supreme Court. It clearly states that the Parliament has the right to make laws on any subject of the Union Territory of Delhi under 239AA. This court has made it absolutely clear in its judgement.
Home Minister Amit Shah said that the ordinance refers to the Supreme Court order which says that Parliament has the right to make laws on any issue related to the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
He said, ‘I request all parties that supporting or opposing any party to win the election, such politics should not be done. There are many ways to form a new alliance. Bills and laws are for the good of the country. That’s why it should be opposed and supported for the betterment of Delhi.
