According to the forecast made for July 28, a yellow alert has been issued regarding rain in Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and the northeastern states. At the same time, there may be heavy rains in more than 14 districts of Odisha today. A yellow alert has been issued regarding this. The Meteorological Department has said that many districts of the state may witness rain till July 31. Due to heavy rains in the mountains, incidents of landslides have increased. At the same time, rain is expected in many districts of Himachal Pradesh till July 31.

Flood like situation in 10 districts of Gujarat

Apart from this, Gujarat has received the highest rainfall so far. 2460.3 mm of rain has been recorded here. Due to heavy rains, many rivers are in spate. There are flood-like conditions in about 10 districts of the state. Thousands of people have been shifted to safer places. About one lakh people have been affected by this. Due to heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh, the water level of many reservoirs has increased. During the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains occurred in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. Heavy rains have occurred at some places in Madhya Maharashtra, South Rajasthan, North-West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, parts of Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal.
