Kotputli-Bahro L A meeting of District Level Khanij Development, Environmental Protection and Illegal Mining Monitoring Committee was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium in connection with the prevention of illegal mining under the chairmanship of District Collector Priyanka Goswami. During this, District Superintendent of Police Devendra Kumar Bishnoi was also present.
The District Collector directed to take strict action against the people involved while taking necessary action for the prevention of illegal mining, issue and storage in the district by taking sustainable monitoring on illegal mining/issue. He also said that a casual joint campaign should be conducted for effective action on illegal mining. He said that the district administration, police, forest, transport and mining departments will have to work in mutual coordination, so that illegal mining can be completely stopped. He said that according to the rules, seizing vehicles and machinery involved in illegal mining by imposing fines.
According to the rules, the District Collector asked the leaseholders to do mining work and plant maximum plantation for the balance of environment. During this, he asked to solve the practical problems of committee members and mining lease stripes as per rules and also asked to take consideration and necessary action on the suggestions given by him in the meeting.
The District Superintendent of Police asked to ban the border home guard posted in the potential illegal mining area for vigilant monitoring, as well as formed a joint team and asked to take active action to seize vehicles involved in illegal mining. He sent a dicky to timely investigate beverages (tulayats) to periodically investigate the efficient illegal mining area Bansur, Narayanpur, Bhuri Bhadaz, Buchara area, to work and strict monitoring of overloading vehicles to strictly monitor overloading vehicles.
During this time, Assistant Mining Engineer, Department of Mines and Geology, Kotputli (Member Secretary) Amichand Duharia told about the proceedings and action plan being done by the department.
Additional District Collector Omprakash Saharan, Additional Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Sharma, Committee Member Deep Singh Shekhawat, Mohan Singh Shekhawat, Shankar Swami DTO Sunil Saini and concerned officials were present in the meeting.
