quota. The state government has taken a big action after the complaints received in the review meeting of the Department of Water Supply. Superintendent Engineer (SE) Bharat Bhushan Miglani of Kota has been made Administrative Personal Officer (APO). This action was taken after the strictness of Water Minister Kanhaiyalal Chaudhary.
Additional Chief Engineer D.N. Vyas said that serious complaints against Miglani were reported in the review meeting. He could not give any satisfactory answer to the answer, on which the minister expressed displeasure. After this, orders were issued to APO to Miglani on Friday morning.
According to sources, Miglani canceled the already approved tender for the purpose of benefiting a favorite contractor. This tender was released for necessary water supply works during summer. Apart from this, necessary auctions were not done on time and many essential ingredients have been lying in departmental godowns for four years.
It was also revealed in the review meeting that there was no concrete progress in the field of Miglani under the Amrit 2 scheme of the Central Government. Incorrect information was presented to confuse the minister. Other complaints were also seriously investigated and this action was taken based on that.
Officials of Kota and Bundi districts attended the review meeting held in Kota on Thursday. The public representatives present in the meeting had shocked questions about departmental negligence. Minister Kanhaiyalal Chaudhary had announced there that immediate action will be taken against those found guilty.
