a question still unanswered
We will move forward on what happened today… Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is saying this after meeting Rahul Gandhi and Kharge. All the leaders involved in the meeting are calling it historic but who will be the face of the opposition? No leader answered this question. Perhaps the answer to this question is not that simple either. As far as opposition unity is concerned, it is being tried for a long time. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and former President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday. In this meeting, it was decided to unite maximum opposition parties against the Bharatiya Janata Party in view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and to put forth the opposition’s vision for the country. Bihar’s Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav and other leaders were also present on this occasion.
Many leaders of the opposition who are making different claims
Leaders of opposition parties are excited about this meeting held in Delhi and it is being considered very important before the Lok Sabha elections. Nitish Kumar is saying after this meeting that more and more people will come together. This is not the first meeting of its kind after which there is talk of opposition unity. Sometimes Mamta Banerjee meets Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and sometimes Kejriwal meets Telangana CM KCR. Recently, the Aam Aadmi Party has got the status of a national party, after which the talk of leadership in 2024 has started. BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have to compete in the next Lok Sabha elections… All opposition leaders are talking about this, but it will not happen just by saying so. Nitish had a meeting with the Congress leadership and it was decided to unite as many opposition parties as possible but the answer to how could be found only when Mamata Banerjee, KCR, Kejriwal, Nitish Kumar and especially the Congress reveal their cards. Apart from this, there are Akhilesh Yadav, Sharad Pawar who are still silent.

Mission opposition… Many people are trying for this
Efforts to unite the opposition parties are also being made through another organization and recently Rajya Sabha member Kapil Sibal has led it. Kapil Sibal has said that the Congress should be at the center of any coalition that will take on the BJP in the 2024 general elections. Sibal said all opposition parties should be sensitive while criticizing each other’s ideologies to form a strong alliance. Sibal called upon all political parties opposing the BJP-led central government to first find a common platform. He said that this common platform could also be his newly formed justice. However, he is also not answering the question of who will lead and says that there is no need to answer at this stage. Who will lead the opposition and how will the seats be distributed? These are two big questions and until they are not answered, things probably won’t happen.
