Jaipur. The mock drill to be held on May 29 in the state has been postponed for administrative reasons. The concerned departments at the district and state level have been informed in this regard. Officials said that the next date of mock drill will be determined soon and all departments will be informed about it in time. According to the information received, this mock drill was to be organized under national security, disaster management and internal preparation, in which coordinated participation of various agencies was required. However, the administration has clarified that this adjournment is not a part of an emergency or security reasons, but a purely part of the decision taken at the administrative level.
Officials associated with the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) and the district administration said that the preparations for the mock drill were almost complete, but due to some coordination issues, it had to be postponed. Appeal has been made to ordinary citizens not to pay attention to rumors and recognize the information obtained only through official means.
The new date will be announced in the next few days, after which again all concerned departments will be prepared for practice.
