Earlier last month also, 17 other Indian workers stranded in Laos were rescued and brought back to India. Work was being done in a wood factory
The Indians who have been brought back were being made to work in a wood factory in Attapeu province of Laos. These include seven workers from Odisha working at this place and six Indian youths working in the Golden Triangle SEZ located in Bokeo province. All of them have now been evacuated safely.
