Many go there with dirt during their Kedarnath Yatra. Now, regarding this, the Prime Minister of the country has made an appeal through ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to the people who spread dirt on a holy place like Kedarnath. In which he is doing that some people are spreading dirt at Kedarnath site and its surroundings. Many devotees are saddened by this.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing the 89th episode of his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. During this, he mentioned the Chardham Yatra. In ‘Mann Ki Baat’, PM while talking about the mess being spread in Kedarnath Dham said that some people are spreading dirt in Kedarnath. Many devotees are saddened by this. Many people have shared pictures of dirt on social media. We go on a holy pilgrimage, but it is not true that there should be a pile of dirt. On the other hand, there are many devotees who are taking the initiative of cleanliness along with the worship of Baba Kedar. After this, PM Narendra Modi said – pilgrimage is also incomplete without pilgrimage service. Wherever we go, maintain the dignity of such pilgrimage areas.
