The police have successfully disclosed the jewelery loot of Rs 50 lakh on Jind-Rohtak National Highway in Haryana. The plot of this loot was hatched by Hariom, a relative of the jeweler, along with his friends. The police have arrested a total of six accused in the case, while one of the accused is still absconding.
Loot incident and mastermind Hariom
The main accused is Hariom Julana and is a distant relative of Jeweler Anil. Anil is a resident of Jind and has a jewelery shop on Bhiwani Road. They regularly bring gold and silver from Rohtak. On July 7, Jind was coming back with 420 grams of gold, 5 kg silver and about 100 grams of gold jewelery from Anil Rohtak.
How did the incident happen?
According to police investigation, Hariom was behind Anil from Rohtak and continued to inform his friends every moment. When Anil reached near the canal of Poli village, Hariom’s friends came in front of Anil’s bike with a motorcycle. Due to this Anil fell. The accused rained sticks and sticks on them and then escaped by snatching a bag full of gold and silver by pointing a pistol on the temple.
Police investigation and arrest
After receiving a complaint of robbery, the police registered a case against the unknown and started investigation. Police searched all CCTV footage from Anil’s shop to Rohtak bypass. Also, the mobile data of Anil’s family and his employees was also investigated. During the investigation, the police came to know about the conversation between Hariom and Anil’s employee.
After this, the police arrested Hariom, Anil’s employee and Hariom’s friends and questioned them. All the accused accepted the robbery.
Hariom’s criminal conspiracy
According to the police, Hariom married a girl from Julana a month ago. He worked as a computer operator in a private company in Gurugram, but quit his job after marriage. Due to financial constraints, he started living in a rented house in Julana and was struggling with the need for money.
Hariom was aware of Anil’s routine and often used to visit Anil’s shop. He also befriended the jeweler’s employee, who informed Anil to bring gold and silver from Rohtak. Taking advantage of this information, Hariom conspired to loot.
This serious case has been exposed by the activism of Haryana Police. The police have arrested the accused and started legal action. Strict punishment is awaited against Hariom and his associates. At the same time, this incident has also raised concerns about safety among traders. The police has also appealed to remain vigilant in such cases and inform about suspicious activities.
