According to the latest information received from the Meteorological Department, the active monsoon in Kerala is causing a lot of rain there and in the surrounding states. Now the southwest monsoon is going to advance further in Karnataka, Rayalaseema, coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, west-central and northwestern parts of the Bay of Bengal in the next 2 days. It is being told that the conditions are very good for the monsoon to move forward. According to the Meteorological Department, cyclone-like conditions have also formed in the Bay of Bengal on the southern part of Andhra Pradesh and the northern coast of Tamil Nadu. At the same time, a similar cyclone is being seen in Pakistan. Whereas, there is also a cyclonic circulation in the north-west area of Madhya Pradesh. Overall, it is expected that in the month of June itself, the monsoon will cover the entire country and a period of rain will be seen. The Meteorological Department has already announced that due to the effect of La Nina, this time more than average rain is going to be seen.
According to the latest assessment of the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka. At the same time, there is a possibility of some rain in the states of Northeast India including Sikkim and Assam, Maharashtra, Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep, many areas in Odisha, southern parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Himalayan areas of West Bengal as well as Delhi and Bihar. People may get relief from rain in some areas of Punjab and Haryana as well as North-Western UP. Whereas, the Meteorological Department also estimates that the effect of heatwave will remain in the rainless areas of Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
