According to the Meteorological Department, in the next few days, the effect of monsoon will be seen in Delhi, entire UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh etc. and there will be a lot of rain in all these places. Overall, by the end of June, the monsoon rain will start drenching the entire country. The Meteorological Department has already said that this time monsoon will bring a lot of rain from July to the end of September. This year, due to the effect of ‘La Nina’, the Meteorological Department has already predicted more rain than the average compared to other years. However, in June, the rainfall has been about 20 percent less than its average. Earlier, due to the continuous effect of ‘El Nino’, less than average rain was seen during monsoon for many years. In El Nino, the temperature of the sea surface is less than that of the land. Whereas, in La Nina, like the land, the sea surface also becomes very hot.
