A fierce fire broke out on Wednesday morning in the slum of Sector 120 in Gurugram, Haryana. The fire caused more than 40 huts to ashes. However, it is a matter of honor that no casualties were reported during this period. Police and fire department teams reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. During this time, many firefighters managed to control the fire after hours of hard work.

A fierce fire broke out in the slum of Sector 120 of Gurugram on Wednesday morning, in which more than 40 huts were burnt to ashes. The fire officer said that the fire started in the garbage heap at around 3.50 pm. After this it spread to several slums of Sector 102 near Dwarka Expressway. The fire took a terrible form due to the bursting of small gas cylinders here. Seeing the fire, there was chaos in the township.

People somehow escaped their lives and then reported the incident to the police and fire department. On receiving information about the incident, many policemen immediately reached the spot from the nearest police station. After this, more than 10 fire engines started extinguishing the fire from Bhim Nagar, Sector 29, Sector 37 and Udyog Vihar. The fire was controlled by the fire personnel after three hours of hard work, but by then more than 40 poor houses were burnt to ashes.

Hundreds of people became homeless.
Fire fighting officer Narendra Singh said that more than 40 huts were burnt to ashes, but our fire workers were successful in saving about 100 huts in the surrounding area. It is being told that 400 to 500 people lived in these slums, which became homeless due to the fire in the slums. However, the best thing about this incident is that there is no report of any casualty during this incident.
